The AMS Alliance SmartChem® 450 Discrete Analyser by KPM Analytics is a cutting-edge, fully automated platform for photometric and electrochemical analysis in wet chemistry. With a capacity of up to 450 tests per hour, it can be equipped with optional pH/Conductivity/ORP analytical and Nitrate sample prep modules. The system can handle 100 samples, controls, calibrators, and 72 different reagents.

System Components

The SmartChem® 450 comes equipped with a collection of 12 wavelength filters, covering the range of 340 – 880 nm. Up to 9 filters can be conveniently mounted on board at the same time, enabling visible spectrum photometry. Additionally, photometric analysis can be combined with pH/Conductivity/ORP testing using the built-in module.

Software

The SmartChem® 450 analyser operates entirely via computer using dedicated, intuitive, and user-friendly software. This software is bidirectional LIMS and meets NELAC/EPA or NELAC-EPA compliance standards.


The SmartChem® software streamlines routine tasks, providing operators with complete control over the analyzer. This includes managing onboard reagent stock, samples, controls, calibrators, and monitoring cuvette status in the reaction chamber.

  • Choose between two user configurations: Advanced View allows full access and interaction with all features in the SmartChem® Pro Software based on privilege settings; Operator View restricts functions to those required for routine tasks.
